As a private, 501c3, non-profit organization, the Washington County SPCA has always relied on donations for support. Our shelter was devastated by severe flooding in July of 2007. The damage to the facilities was extensive. Only the necessary repairs to our existing shelter were made in order that we continue our operations. We have secured property on higher ground and are making plans to relocate as soon as we can get the new facility built.
Your contribution not only helps care for the many strays on the streets of Bartlesville and the hundreds of lost, neglected and abused animals housed in our shelter daily. It also benefits the programs and services we offer the Greater Washington County area and beyond. We have come a long way since that fateful day in July of 2007. We have a long way to go.
